3 min readWritten for: Founders looking for a programme to apply to

What you will learn

  • How to discover available incubation programs
  • How the application submission process works
  • How to respond to scheme-specific questions
  • How to track application status in real time

Discovering Programs#

Startups can browse published incubation programs either through the ecosystem platform's discovery feed or via direct links shared by incubators. Each program listing includes detailed information about eligibility, benefits, timeline, and the application process.

  • Browse programs by sector, stage, location, and funding type
  • View program details including duration, benefits, and expectations
  • Check eligibility criteria before applying
  • See application deadlines and batch intake dates
  • View success stories from previous cohorts
  • Direct apply button with pre-filled startup information

Application Submission#

The application process is structured around the program's custom application form. Startups fill in required fields, answer scheme-specific questions, and upload supporting documents.

  • Auto-populated startup profile information
  • Custom question responses defined by the program scheme
  • File uploads for pitch decks, financials, and incorporation documents
  • Draft saving - applications can be saved and resumed later
  • Submission confirmation with application reference number
  • Email and in-app notification upon successful submission

Where your application has got to#

Every application shows a status. The incubator moves it forward one stage at a time as they work through your submission, so it changes without you doing anything - it is worth checking back rather than waiting to be told.

Status shown on your applicationWhat is actually happening
SubmittedThe incubator has your application. Nobody has opened it yet.
ReviewedIt passed the first read and is moving forward.
Under ReviewThe panel is scoring it. This is usually the longest stage.
EvaluatedScoring is done. A decision is being made.
VerifiedEverything checks out. You are waiting on the final onboarding step.
OnboardedYou are in the programme.
RejectedThe application was not taken forward. Feedback may be attached.
RemovedThe incubator took the startup out of the programme.
What the incubator needs from you is a note beside the status - '1 document needed', '2 changes needed' - not a status. When you see one, the next step is yours.

Good to know

An application that sits at Detailed Evaluation for a while is normal - panels score in batches. You will be notified if anything is needed from you.

Multiple Applications#

Startups can apply to multiple programs simultaneously. Each application is tracked independently with its own status, communications, and document trail. The portal provides a unified view of all active and past applications.
