- How session booking and payment works
- How mentor packages and subscriptions work
- How long-term mentorship relationships are managed
Overview#
Users can browse mentors with filters for expertise, industry, price range, and rating. Featured and recommended mentors are surfaced based on your profile and goals.
Mentor Profile#
- Professional background and expertise areas
- Industries served and startup stages
- Session types with pricing (e.g., Career Guidance - 30min - $50)
- Availability calendar
- Reviews and ratings from past mentees
- Success stories and mentoring approach
- Session packages for subscription-based access
Session Booking#
- Select a session type and duration
- Pick an available time slot from the calendar
- Pay for the slot to hold it
- Follow the booking from pending, to confirmed, to completed - and see it marked cancelled, rescheduled or no-show if the plan changes
- Cancel or reschedule within policy windows
- Submit post-session review
Buying several sessions at once#
Rather than booking one session at a time, a mentor can sell you a block of them. There are two shapes, and the mentor decides which they offer - there are no fixed tiers.
- A bundle of sessions - a set number bought together, usually cheaper per session, used whenever you like
- A subscription - an ongoing arrangement that renews, giving you priority booking and a direct chat channel with the mentor
Long-Term Mentorship#
Beyond individual sessions, users can request ongoing mentorship relationships with milestone tracking, shared goals, and a dedicated chat channel.
- Ad hoc - you come back to the same mentor when you need them, with no fixed schedule
- Ongoing - a standing relationship with regular sessions and shared goals
- Programme - mentorship attached to an incubator programme you are enrolled in
- Advisor - a formal advisory role, typically the longest-running of the four
